Alexander Proulx's curatorial debut, hosted at the Fulton Street Collective.

The Call to Art asked the artists to submit works that showed us a story or concept from a new perspective, in a novel way, or which celebrated strangeness.

With 60 artists submitting and over 190 pieces to consider, the process of curating the show to a cohesive collection was a challenging and rewarding experience.

Hosted at the lovely RAYGUN in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood, 'Take Off' is the official launch of The Doodle Shop's website! We will be celebrating this launch by holding a 1 day pop up event, where you can see lots of items from The Doodle Shop, including Mugs, Art Tiles, and the debut showing of Alexander's new fine art piece "Kestrel." This event will be held Sunday, February 26th between 11 and 5 PM at RAYGUN in Andersonville, which is located at  5207 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60640.  

'Spice Spectacular' was an adorable holiday market hosted at On Tour Brewing (@OnTourBrewing) and curated by @KisstheBrain and @Laina_Joy_Gallery_Chicago, in December of 2022.  The show featured about 20 artists, 6 vendors, with the centerpieces of the show being wonderfully decorated spice racks-- set to auction and for the purpose of donating proceeds to a local charity, Nourishing Hope Chicago; A social services and food pantry serving the Chicago Area  At this event, The Doodle Shop released their 'Polar Party' Image set. We also debuted a new digital print format, a Ceramic Art Tile, meant to be hung or placed on a shelf.  ...

Collaborated with 3BR Distillery out of Keyport NJ to design art for the label of one of their elevator (limited edition) spirit. Designed a matching acrylic pin and sticker for them to sell as swag.
