"Ferocious. Fragile. Free." is the title of Alexander's solo show in August of 2024 at Vibrant Cast Gallery in Lincoln Square.
For this show, the artist produced 31 large format works to fill the main gallery. Additionally, the artist produced a "Gift Shop" which had prints and other grabbable art items.
The show explored the relationship between humanity and nature and the evolution of the power dynamics through time as we approached the modern day.

Two large format (48x60") pieces were the featured centerpieces of the show. The first was done in 2019 and is part of a private collection and is Titled "Ram.". The Second, created in 2024 for the show was called "Oryx."
These pieces were staged across the gallery from each other and featured huge creatures with horns prominently featured. The artist also intentionally mirrored the palette of the earlier piece when creating Oryx. These similarities were juxtaposed by two details; media and age.
Over the course of Alex's artistic career, he began with acrylic painting and grew and expanded to include his digital drawing and rendering skills. By digitally drawing "Oryx." in contrast to the traditionally rendered "Ram." we see the evolution of the artists technique and experience over that five year journey.
